A recent college graduate thrown into the dream job of John Deere’s Chief Tractor Officer.  In which he kicked Dave and My’s butt.  We are here to ask him the tough questions and see if he can live up to the hype.  It is my pleasure to introduce John Deere’s first ever CTO from Seatle, WA Mr. Rex Curtiss!!!

• Met with 8 yr old Jackson Laux - trained and coach about all things tractors
• Background:
• Worked in local food systems in community
• Noticed a gap of where our food comes, etc
• Family is 4th generation farmers
• Grandmas generation became disconnected from
• Only cousins are involved with ag now 
• Environmental studies is his major
• Found this role through his brother who saw it online
• Content Creation
• Creates things out of Babybel cheese wax 
• Eats all of the cheese in babybel wax

I grew up in northeast Nebraska and we call them Taverns. I live 45 minutes from Omaha and they are referred to as sloppy joes here. My wife is from south central Nebraska and refers to them as sloppy joes.
